I do not understand who these people are that are giving 4 and 5 star reviews for this terrible place. Let me provide a detailed review of Citadine OMR and what budget is worth the stay. 1. ROOM - I had booked 1 week in advance for a deluxe studio room. I was provided a room at a corner and it was barely 200sqkm. # There was no water, nothing in the mini fridge, toilet was unclean, and no staff/security was sent to show us to our room even when we asked them to guide us. It took us 5 minutes after reaching the floor to find out where the room was since it was at a blind-spot corner. # The lighting in the room is terrible! Most of the lights do not work and the light wiring is also wrongly done. #Over-all the appearance of the room is like an extremely dimly-lit, tiny coffin. 2. BED - As per the room description we were promised a queen sized bed. But, we were given two guest beds (small single beds) that were joined together. #This was grave consumer right violation since they are practicing unfair trade. I had paid more than 6,000Rs for this terrible room was a tiny bed. 3. BREAKFAST - There was just bad smelling poori bhaji as the main item. The rest of the breakfast buffet were cut fruits, tea, coffee and mini sandwiches. # Imagine paying around 2k extra for breakfast included room just to eat fruits in the morning. # My spouse got stomach-ache after eating the poori bhaji since it was not fresh and a lot of colour was added to it. The taste was also too salty, oily and not fresh tasting. 4. ALCOHOL SERVICE - The alcohol pricing is over-priced when compared to other hotels of the same range. # In-room service will bring you Long Island Iced Tea (Rs 1300+) in a tiny coffee- package plastic mug. Is this how a star rated hotel is supposed to serve alcohol beverages? # They also require you pay for the beverage at the time of in room service and not at the time of check-out. This detail is never mentioned anywhere in their website or during check-in so this would make you skeptical about whether the serving staff is trying to loot your money. I had to call the reception to make sure that such was the existing protocol. A heads up about this would have been nice. ****** I had discussed these points one by one with a Manager of Citadine. He tried to deflect the point about breakfast food selection by saying that Citadine has less price range in rooms and that is compensated by keeping less food options for breakfast. People, This was his trick. Let me tell you that NONE of the other nearby hotels (My partner and I walked around to find better hotels to escape from this place. We checked everything. We checked Ibis, Novotel, Vivanta, etc) have such terrible breakfast (and breakfast options). The other hotels are also far less cheaply rated than Citadines. I had to pay 6k+ for 1 night stay ( I stayed on 25th April 2024. I wanted to stay till 29th April) at Citadine whereas when I checked the other Hotels, the ranges were between 3k-6k but with better service, room, food, etc. We decided to stay at Novotel for the rest of the stay till 29th and I regret wasting one day worth of stay at Citadine. The Manager understood that I could not be fooled and he offered me coffee or complimentary lunch, but I refused. I just wanted to get away from there and not get a stomach-ache from their terrible food. To sum up, if you are ready to deal with rude staff, stale food and dingy rooms, get ready to negotiate with them for a price range of 1k to 3k. Their quality of service is only worth that range.

Stayed for 2 months.Excellent cleaning and maintainence provided on 3rd floor by Jeetu Mohanty and co! Libion from the gym is also a great professional, and regularly took efforts to help. Thoroughly recommend staying here! Food and other facilities are also top notch!

We checked into a two-bedroom suite during rains in Chennai and inspite of the heavy rush the staff handled very well,efficiently,Dy.Mgr Mr Sashi Kumar was particularly helpful .Very well maintained place,no complaints at all. Resturant - ok,wouldn't go if not staying in the place. The F&B Manager was very helpful and appreciate that.
